that the Nets will take Glen Rice for the #1 and thus reinforce the Lakers #4 spot? I realize that 'Phil doesn't play rookies' and all, but that trade seems more likely than Pat Riley giving up PJ Brown, or one of the teams w/ cap space wasting it on Rice. ------------------
Well, it'd have to be a sign and trade, and it'd make no sense for NJ. New Jersey doesn't have the cap space for Rice anyway. They need an enforcer (Martin) more than Rice. I have no fear of this. ------------------ The more lefties on your team, the better.
Keith, Stephon and Glenn on the same team? Crazy idea. Mango ------------------ Live long and prosper. Donate blood! Smeg will be assimilated. Now...back to updating The Serious Police Files.
Wait a second here....this actually might happen. 1. NBA wants more scoring, less defense 2. Rod Thorn, a former high ranking NBA dude, is now a major parts of the Nets 3. Glen Rice, Keith Van Horn, and Stephon Marbury would be an ideal "Hooray for scoring, what is this thing you call defense?" IT WAS ALL A PLOY OF THORN'S!!!! ------------------ The more lefties on your team, the better.
hmmm... before what we call the 'lottery' occurred... did Thorn know that he would be the lead of the Nets? hmmm... will Thorn help the Lakers even though he's on the Nets payroll, as a service to the league? hmmm... will Thorn announce his return to the league's main offices shortly after a Rice for the #1 pick trade? hmmm... mantronix 3:16 ------------------ get it Tag, get it! - a Jazzhole asking Greg Ostertag to rebound the ball.
