Who in the top ten want's Miles really besides us. Would the Bulls select Miles at 4? No. Then go over to sportstalk.com and go to the draftpage. The Bulls are reportedly going to select Cleaves with the seventh pick and I don't think Cleveland is going to pick him. So Miles is all ours.

All sportstalk is saying is that the Bulls would like to work out Cleaves. Yes, they would pick him at 4, and definitely at 7. They really like him. Who else would take him? Well there's Orlando, who is building for the future. Then there is Atlanta, who knows Miles' potential is much higher than Dermarr's or Miller's. The chance of Miles being there at 9 is about 0.000001%. Actually, I read somewhere that the Nets are even considering him with number one, and the Clips might with #3. No way he falls this low.

Exactly -- Cleaves is just working out with the Bulls -- definitely no lock to be selected at #7.

Too many teams interested in Miles and as The Cat said, New Jersey is even considering him at #1. Look at what CNNSI's Stephen A. Smith wrote on this:

great 'message' to send to the High Schoolers -

well we have this developmental league...

and we also have a guaranteed $3M per year contract for 3 years.

On a rockets note though: Is it too late for Stromile to back out of the draft? I realize he tried to shore up his image with his statements about willing to play for the Clippers, but... com'on. If the Clippers were really trying to pick up Fizer, perhaps we can make a trade worth their while.

    Cato, #9, Drew, KT
    a drafted Stromile, and Kandi.

Insert starch as needed for the aelliots of the world.

Achebe-No starch is needed as the Clippers are below the cap. [IMG]

I don't see how Miles will slip from 7 the Bulls will certainly grab him up at 7 & if they by chance take Alexander then the Magic won't pass at 8 hoping Mike Miller will get passed on by the Rockets.
