Now thats the game I want Luther to develop, drive, dish, crazy carom shots. Kid does hustle, if he develops a consistent outside shot he'll be an important piece.

This team is ALL bad players... besides Yao.

The only way to follow-thru with what you just suggested is to have Yao play the Spurs 1 on 5.

"Are you watching the team, or just pop that out based on the score board? Have you realized that Yao just couldn't get position for consecutive trips down the court?"

Have you played organized basketball before? Yao's position can be 18ft out. He does not always have to be right under the basket to get him the ball.

I agree, but the level of talent drops significanly when we go to the bench except Mutombo(experience/teaching makes up for the age).

Yao's right wrist is bothering him. Not a good sign.

Six point games only. Keep it up, Rox!

Oh, Bowen, please stick your ass on the bench for the rest of the game!

It has been bothering him since the first quarter. I forgot, but it happened either on a rebound or a block shot attempt, he hit something.

That is true. Sometimes rox guards were not even trying to look for Yao, or passed the ball away from Yao instead of repassing back to Yao, like Refer always did ........

LOL. Then what? Ask Yao to shoot long jumpers whole night long? I thought he has been dominating in the paint for quite a while. Now you just want him to come out to get the ball? Great organized basketball.

Nope. Yao can decide to pass for an open teammate. Just like his assist to Alston.

All in all, pass the ball to Yao first and let him decide what to do!

Now that'd be one heck of a halftime show.

Yao fell on his wrist earlier as a part of the knee-bumping. Looks like he's in a lot of pain. Not good. He's not moving nearly as well either. Don't know if that's the knee or not.

Everyone who is upset at the guards not getting Yao the ball - give the Spurs some credit. They are swarming Yao and daring everyone else to beat them tonight. Nesterivic is doing a good job of fronting Yao as well.

Yao doesn't look right however. I'm worried about that.

Yes, Yao can look over any defenders head, and he has proved he can make good decison on passing the ball ... the problem is neither JVG nor his teammates know nothing about it

Since Yao's statistical production seems to steadily decline as the game progresses (looking at the past 4 or 5 games), what can we expect his numbers to be at the end? Right now, he's at 8 points, 6 rebounds.

    I'll say: 13 points, 8 rebounds.
