Yao doesn't have the energy level tonight after getting a little banged up... just a step slow (and now he just missed a dunk).
This is ridiculous. That several Rockets have many more shots than Yao. The Rocket's management needs to clear this roster in the off-season except T-Mac, Yao, and Dike.
JVG also needs to bear some responsibilities for this. He can just bench whoever shoots more than Yao.
Yao can't get the ball if he's being surrounded/swarmed like he is tonight. IN the past few games, he's had the energy to fight thru it and avoid being fronted... for whatever reason, tonight he's just not able to fight it off as well.
Are you watching the team, or just pop that out based on the score board? Have you realized that Yao just couldn't get position for consecutive trips down the court?
I agree, some of the responsibilty lies upon JVG. But he cannot put in bad players all the time. Regardles, he is still a good coach. There has been many times that Yao is being guarded by 1 player and he still does not get hte pass. This team needs to go back to the Wilt days and make sure he touched the ball on every possession.
