Here's all 65 people playing in the Chicago camp (many others like Martin, Fizer, Swift, Mihm, etc. will go there and get measured/weighed I believe, but they don't want their stock to drop any, so they don't play).

The Crawford thing is worth watching. He is MEGA talented, and is a tall PG (6'5''-6'6'' range). He'd be a huge steal in round 2, if we get lucky and he falls there.

Crawford will not make it in the NBA as a PG. This guy is similar to Larry Hughes. He's at his best when he focuses on just scoring. I believe Jamal still has the option to go back to college if he doesn't like his standing in the draft. There's a good chance he'll go back to school if he is drafted in the second round. This guy has talent, and unfortunately an attitude.

Crawford can't go back after he is drafted if my understanding is correct. August 1st (am I correct here?) is the deadline, they have to make the decision to enter the draft, or return to school.

If anyone else has insight on this, please comment.

Since the draft is on June 28, I don't think the deadline would be August 1. [IMG] I think June 21 is the deadline to go back if you haven't signed with an agent.

I thought that collegians who had NOT hired an Agent (or accepted any kind of compensation such as travel money) had to pull out of the draft one week prior to the draft (~June 21) or else forfeit their remaining collegiate eligibility.

Early Chicago reports. Mihm could be free falling, past #5. That gotta hurt.

Crawford apparently will hire an agent....his stock may be going up.

Wow. Mihm and Fizer both seem to be free-falling. Here's an interesting question. Most of us sit here and call them future busts, but what if one of these big names happens to be on the board at pick 9? Would you still take Moiso, Miller, or someone else over those two?

I'd take Fizer or Mihm in a heartbeat if they were there. Possible way Fizer falls:

    1. KMart
    2. Swift
    3. Mihm (LAC-trades Kandi)
    4. Pryzbilla
    5. Miles
    6. Miller/Johnson (Atlanta)
    7. Barkley or Miller/Johnson (Barkley could rise that high, great workout, and if that Chicago trade happens)
    8. Tsakalidis or Miller/Johnson
    9. Fizer

I'd say a 15-20% chance of Fizer falling to us.
    ------------------------------------------
Way that Mihm could fall to us
    1. Martin
    2. Swift
    3. Fizer
    4. Pryzbilla
    5. Miles
    6. Miller/Johnson
    7. Barkley
    8. Miller/Johnson, or Tsakalidis
    9. Mihm

I doubt #8 (Cleveland) would pass up Mihm though.

    Likelyhood-5-10%

I would too, I was just curious what everyone else thought. I would especially like to have Fizer. I know people dog him a lot, but I really like him and think he can have a successful career. Mihm I don't like near as much, but size does matter and quality 7 footers are hard to come by.

Cat and RichRocket -- y'all are right. Underclassmen who choose to withdraw must do so one week before the draft, June 21, and can do so only if they have not signed with an agent.

I *think* there is an exception-If you're an underclassmen that DOES NOT sign with an agent, and go completely undrafted, I think you can return to school.

I don't remember Cleveland ever taking an underclassman. I thought they had some policy against it.

As for Crawford, I was under the impression he declared for the draft as a high schooler, then withdrew his name to protect his eligibility. Unfortunatly, once a HS player declares they can't play college ball. That's why Crawford was suspended the latter half of the season. So I think he HAS to go pro.

As for Mihm, I think Jerry Krause is trying to set it up so he can take Miles at #4 and Mihm at #7.
