As painful as tonight's loss to the Mavs is, I take comfort in knowing that we stayed at about a 10 pt difference for most of the game. There is no doubt in my mind that had T-Mac played, we would've wiped the Mavs off the TC.

In fact, it seems that Yao is playing so well lately that we don't even need an MVP-caliber player like T-Mac to win these games.

So here's my game: Who is the worst player you can think of adding to the Rockets that would've made enough of a difference tonight to make the Rockets win? (Keep in mind that you have to take out one Rocket player to make room for your replacement).

This is not a trade J-H, Bowen, T-mac thread. It is just for fun. ;)

JR Smith. The Hornets obviously don't think much of him, but I seem to recall he has some game. I could be mistaken about that, though.

I think that's all we need: A consistent three point shooter who isn't a complete liability on defense. ;)

Man.. I haven't even seen any of the games where Yao is just on fire (we just don't get that here in LA, videos please R2K?).. but I'd have to say

Cuttino. With him in there, we would have kicked Spurs, Nets, and Mavs butt.

what could've been with Cat sticking around... he
personally may've said playing for JVG wasn't "fun"..
but, his play was sure responding well to his coaching..

I sure as hell didn't want to give up Cat in the T-mac trade.. just wanted to get T-mac even more..

if we had Cat last year, we leave the Mavs with
only one or two wins(at most), and head to the second round..

if we had Cat this year, we're in the playoffs right now..

Take out Howard and replace him with someone like Drew Gooden. 3 offensive boards a game and shooting 51%. He'd make more shots and have a heyday on the glass with all the bricks that Bogans put up.
