Another thing that stood out in this article was a quote from Marbury:

    What does THAT tell you?

well marbury's starting over francis although they get equal minutes. francis has already blown one game for them. I love francis, but just like when mcgrady got to houston and it seemed like a t-mac/jvg lovefest, I'll wait till francis has spent some significant time there to say they get along.

Larry B is just playing off SF3 against Marbury hoping to get their competitive juices going...pretty smart if you ask me, he has nothing to lose.

I'm sorry. There is no other person in the NBA I dislike more than LB. It's easy to see what the joker is doing. He is scapegoating Marbury, pure and simple. SF isn't low maintenance by ANYONE's definition. Who is LB trying to fool? (I'm sure Steve is being low-profile for right now, though, by his standards).

This is just another way of backing Marbury into a corner. LB has to get along with one of them, and he's chosen Steve. I have one piece of advice for SteveO: After Marbury is gone, don't turn your back on LB or you might feel a sudden sharp pain and find a sword sticking out of your chest. LB has become completely insufferable since winning the championship with the Pistons. He is off the charts for jerkiness even by his own very high standards. SF lovers, if LB stays on board, your guy is going to get filleted at some point in the future. Count on it.

Before someone mentions it: I know what SAS said about Marbury. I know how teams seem to improve when he leaves and sink when he arrives. He is an extremely difficult player to coach and I have zero sympathy for him. But as I see it here, LB is the worse offender. This whole escapade also shows LB is running the show, not Isiah. Both Marbury and Isiah are history.

Marbury is the exact opposite of Sam Cassell

    Marbury:
    overpaid
    leading teams to losing records
    no championships
    overrated

    Cassell:
    underpaid (his fault though)
    leading teams to the playoffs
    2 championships
    underrated

    Done forget.

    Marbury:
    Ditched Garnett out of jealousy.

    Cassell:
    Made Garnett an MVP.

Well compared to the relationship that LB has with Starbury, Franchise must seem like a choir boy. I don't think it was any accident that they got SF even though they had Marbury, the Knicks are going to try like hell to trade Marbury this offseason and Brown wants SF to step into his shoes.

Francis clear has the advantage here. He played under the defensive Nazi named Jeff Van Gundy.

No, Franchise, send your resume to Larry Brown and get your starting job back! If Larry has to chose his poison, it as well might be you.

Larry Brown is an egomaniac and a hypocrite.

    Marbury is an @sshole.

They are perfect for each other.

Isiah knew all along what he was doing.

If NYC really had some fiscal responsibility and some semblance of a desire for a better team I think they should trade Marbury to the only team desparate enough for talent to do so.

Minnesota. KG and Steph together could be a nice story. Garnett actually plays point forward so can create shots for Steph.
