Uh...no idea what you're trying to say here, but I'm always down for a BA Baracus pic. Korea beats the Mexicans 2-1 in a very good game. Both sides' pitching was outstanding, although I tend to suspect both sides' lineups are pretty impotent.
Lee (yeah, I know, all of their players are named Lee...) homers of Dontrelle in the first to make it 1-0 Korea. Dontrelle has been pitching like **** this classic. Keep him on a tight leash, Buck...
Now 2-0 Korea. Dontrelle has given up 3 hits and a walk in the first inning. Get him out of there - he didn't come to play, again...
If you have Time Warner HD service you can tune into channel 314 right now. It's on ESPN2HD if you have DishNetwork. Sadly, tennis is on ESPN2 right now, so they have it scheduled to show on tape delay on that channel at like 1 or 2 in the morning.
Now 3-1 Korea. The reason I'm really pissed off at Dontrelle is due to what he told reporters when asked about whether or not he's done his homework on the Korean hitters. He replied, "I've never been a big scouting report guy, I've always just gone with what works." Well, you've dropped another turd in this game, brother. These guys did their homework on us, the least you can do for your country is do your homework on them.
YEAH... =) as a korean american... i usually root for korea in sports events because they're usually the underdog.. anyways what ya think about lee seung yeop in the majors? there arent many korean position players in the majors (w/ several pitchers).. but i think this guy is FOR REAL.. they actually intentionally walked the guy in the game going on right now, which was immediately followed by choi's 3run homer.. i think for US to intentional walk him, thats some serious respect.. these korean players really stepping up strutting their stuff!
If they haven't fixed the game against Japan, team U.S.A. would be out of this tournament now. I thought baseball was our game...
Well it sounds like you're a great American rooting for Korea. Our guys don't take this stuff seriously. Dontrelle is out there on some kind of vacation play-time and our team is suffering because of it. Pisses me off.
No need for roll-eyes. He's just proud of his heritage. I think you should go back to sleep, Mr. Texx. You seem to be a bit cranky this morning.
Good thing our American players are playing really hard for America Hit the roids guys, maybe we can be good again
Actually, no, I'm not cranky, I'm pissed that we lost. wrt people's heritage. I think A-Rod summed it up properly - he's proud of his Dominican ancestry, but he's also proud to be an American, which is why he's playing for the USA. I guess it pisses me off that everybody in this country is from some other country (well, aside from maybe the Indians), but we have people who won't cheer for our own teams.
Wow the same umpire that made the tag up call for the US against Japan just made another even more horrendous call in the Mexico. The ball hit the foul pole about 14 feet up and that same ump called it a double and not a home run. Everyone could clearly see it hit and bounce into the field of play and yet they call it a double even after concurring and talking to one another. Esteban Loaiza tried to get them to look at the ball and show the markings of paint on the ball from where it hit and the umpires ignored it completly.. All i could say is WOW
Well, Team America is stinking it up again, and can't score any runs. Looks like it would be a fun game to attend. About half the crowd is for USA, and the other half for Mexico. It actually looks a little dangerous with the crowds yelling and taunting each other.
