Just a heads up. I always like to get the draft order established as soon as possible (for planning purposes) so I'm going to do the draft lotto tonight or tomorrow afternoon (whenever I have access to a computer) in the chat room, counting down the picks in reverse order as names are drawn from a hat. I think only one person bothered to log on for it last year, but it's a tradition I like, so I'm doing it anyway. I'll try to give at least 30 mins notice before it starts by posting here. As for the draft starting date, how does the 12th sound? That will give us around 3 weeks to get it done. I guess if no one else wants to join, we'll have to go with 11 players and have bye games. That sucks, but I don't see any other choice?
I found a buddy who is going to take the last spot in the league. His name is Sean and he's a good guy. He's new to fantasy baseball, but has played fantasy hockey many times. He doesn't have access to the BBS, but will follow along with the draft on the league site (like Smeg's friend Paul in football). Anyway, now that everybody is in, I'm going to do the draft lotto in chat in a half hour if anyone wants to follow along!! (if my computer connection doesn't die)
