Who else is chomping at the bit for the return of Tony and his crew this Sunday night?

I have heard that lots of loose ends will be sewn up this season. I wonder who is going to get whacked?

I am pumped....the Sopranos is my favorite TV show.

We all talk about the best "shows" on TV... but this is more than just a "show"... its a way of life.

The show is above "buzz", "ratings", and "emmy awards"... its an institution, and it will be so until they decide to all retire.

I've read previews, and the critics are raving about this season. They've said that things get turned up a notch or two as far as plot/story lines moving along and loose ends in the Soprano saga being tied up.

Hell yeah I am pumped for this season to start! The Sopranos are my favorite show now that Six Feet Under has been retired. I'll probably whip up some baked ziti for the occassion.

I was disappointed last season when the gang war didn't happen. Hopefully it'll pick up this year. Phil Leotardo is guaranteed to be smoked.

Absolutely. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets whacked this Sunday night in episode 1.

I love how all of these old Godfather/Goodfellas/Raging Bull/Casino character actors keep popping up on the Sopranos. Bring on Joe Pesci! :D

I can't wait till Sunday, I have been watching all the episodes since the new year. I hear that there will be 18 episodes and then if there is enough positive feed back either another season or a prequel movie. The 3 best shows on TV in my opinon:
    1. Sopranos
    2. Deadwood
    3. Rome!!!

Hell yeah. I've had the same tradition since season 2. Got the girlfriend hooked on the show over the winter so we're gonna continue my Soprano night tradition when she flys down next friday.

I want Pauly Walnuts whacked for being a backstabbing snake. She's hoping Furio comes back and gets with Carmella. Women.

I think you might be right about Paulie getting whacked this season. Some big stuff will happen with him and with Bobby Baccalieri, who it looks like will be coming out of his mild-mannered shell this season. Can't wait!!!!!!!!

I'll be watching it on HBOHD...I can't wait...I think the long delay between seasons has made me want to watch it even more...Its the only reason I kept HBO...

Definately worth a watch. I was a skeptic until I watched the show over a month long period last year. Good stuff.

Uncle June just shot Tony. Is he that senile or just faking it?
