So basically you are telling me that Diaw and the couple of new guys > Amare and JJ and QRich. Man whats this obsession with Phoenix. You really think they can beat the Spurs? They got killed last year by them when Suns had Amare and JJ. They are not so fortunate this year.

I say that if the Rockets don't make it, Spurs will win it again.

I don't think the addition of a few players is why Phoenix will beat the spurs this year. Phoenix has had 1 extra year together, they are more experienced now, Marion is in his prime, Diaw is playing great, all of the suns can shoot the 3. They are deep.

The spurs are in a decline, duncan's numbers are down, they are vulenerable this year. Plus if you remember, the spurs had some trouble with Seattle last year because seattle was shooting the 3 very well at the time, pushed the spurs to 6 games and that 6th game could have gone either way. I think the suns will learn from that and if they contine to hit their outside shots and stay healthy, the spurs are in trouble.

I hope the Rockets make it, but come on thats such a long shot at this point.

I have a gut feeling Miami will emerge out of the East this year. Last season they were 2 minutes from the Finals with an injured D. Wade and a half healthy Shaq. If both those guys can stay healthy, they'll beat the Pistons.

In the west, if it's not the Rox, then it will probably be the Spurs.

So the Rockets, a team on the outside of the playoff picture looking in, have a better chance at winning the championship than the west's #2 seed?

Guys you're going about this the wrong way. The Rockets make the finals because no team in the NBA wants to play against Yao because they have mouths to feed, but the Pistons make a valiant effort at 1 game, but get crushed.

    Rockets over Pistons in 1.

    Hahaha but for real:

Spurs over Pistons in 7 (again).
