Freakin unbelievable game! That has to be the best game I have seen the Rockets play all year long. That is called playing with effort and with your heart. In fact the game became even more exciting when T-mac left

I agree. These kind of games develop characters. But I wish they have more talented players.

Alston is a good backup, not a starter BTW.

Man this was prolly one of the best games of the year. Coming back ffrom 17 down! Man bogans is the new sura, driving to the hole, taking hard fouls... he's a man!

I saw via on-line he struggled at the end of the game but uh.. 14 assist / 3 TO's isn't exactly backup PG numbers.

i want bogans to start! and i don't know all the bad talks about swift, but this guy was a key reason for the win tonight!

oh by the way, ak47 got EIGHT BLOCKS against the wolves tonight!! he's the only one with blocks for the jazz. the wolves have 6.

For the bajillionth time, Bogans doesn't start because he's the only guy who can play backup to T-Mac effectively. He's the only other effective small forward on the team (or you want RyBo getting plenty minutes off the bench?)

Bogans is better, but Wesley sucks coming off the bench. I think its more efficent to have him come off the bench.

Yao played great, best game of the season so far. Lets give some love to the bench players: Luther, Bogans and Juwan. The whole team demonstrated great passion down the stretch. I love this Houston team!

2 more assists and 2 more blocked shots and he would have had a quadruple double!

Although he is getting the assists of a great playmaker , unfortunately he makes many poor decissions not worthy of a starting Point Guard.

Stro has his great points but he needs to improve in one key area - feeding Yao the ball down-low and making good decisions when Yao is fronted down-low.

I am certain that we would not have hard those 4 consecutive turnovers in the dieing minutes of the game had Juwan been in the game instead of Stro. This is an underrated part of Juwans game - he is a great passer from the high post.

I also thought JVG should have brought Deke in for defensive purposes in the last minute when Indy picked up about 4 offensive rebounds in a row because Yao was tired at that point and Stro was poor in marking out his man and helping out on the boards. Stro made up for it though [some] with that great block on Scotty.

Did yao go 7 for 7 in the second half and hit all his free throws? If so, that is yoeman work with Tracy not available.

Guys played a great game! I don't get to see these unless they are on ch. 51. Bogans - what a great addition to this team! I like that they are learning to win with TMac out (though I really want him back!) Yao is a monster! I like Alston a lot. 14 assists? when was the last time the rockets had a pg where double-digit assists wasn't a fluke or a rarity?

And, maybe it was just the game, but is Clyde Drexler getting better? I've only watched the Rockets a few times.. and he seems to get better each time I watch them... It's kinda like having a sick relative who lives out of town. I dont get to visit very often, so the recovery really is noticeable each time I do...

It's hard to imagine going from the moment Yao hurt his knee to winning the game tonight. Talk about a roller coaster ride. The test gets tougher now. Can we go 2-2 or 3-1?

    The Houston Rockets need:

-A starting PG whose strong points are defense, passing, and hitting open shots.
-A starting SG whose strong points are defense, and hitting open shots.
    -A younger, more athletic PF.

Now, that doesn't mean all these players have to be new, I just want to see Alston coming off the bench unless he picks up his defense. I want to see someone who is taller than Wesley and plays better D, while not giving up the shooting ability. I want to see Swift start at PF, and I want Hayes on the floor more!

Oh well. We'll see how it goes.

yao still needs to work on his conditioning. that one layup bay peja from behind yao, dude was just standing there catching his breath! when he finally turned around, it was way too late.

i think yao and mcgrady would be heavily criticized had they lost this game.
