I remember he was mentioned in a thread way back when as the best candidate to play point forward out of the draft to give Francis a break handling the ball. Now, he's come to the forefront in the tournament, so people should have a pretty good idea of his game. I'm sort of curious about him. What do you guys think of his game? Can he shoot? Defend? Would he fit the Rockets style? Maybe he could be there at Orlando's slot if the Rockets are lucky, and the Rockets could get him for the 3 while still fulfilling my wish of drafting a 4 with their top pick. I'm also curious about Pete Mickeal. I've heard he's a great defender with streaky offense. We could use a good defender at the 3, but don't really need a lot of O from that position. Maybe a good 2nd rounder if he's around?

Miller's got a pretty good all around game, he does a bit of everything, and does it all well!! He's got size, speed and skill - but sometimes his shot goes missing. But the only way I can see the rockets taking him is if we get lucky in the lottery and land one of the highest picks. We'd then use that pick to take Martin and use a lower first rounder to take Miller. If we get a mid-lottery pick then I'm sure we'll take Peterson - he's a defensive rock and can light it up too. If we get the mid first rounder and take Peterson I expect to see a banger taken with a later first round pick (such as Jabari Smith.

Of course if Miller makes the second round then we should jump him, I've got no doubt he'll be a good player one day!!

I love Mike Miller's game. Well rounded, can handle the ball, good range, and a good rebounder. He hustles too! He has VERY good instincts and uses his body well.

He's only a sophomore.....I am sure we will have to wait.

If Miller does come out, he won't last much longer than the lottery. The thing I love about him is that he can flat out pass. Passes into the post better than anyone in the college game. Just has a wonderful feel for the game with some very good defensive instincts. Does need to get a little more aggressive on the offensive end. But I like Miller.

Miller does look like he can do many things well, but I don't see him doing anything outstanding either. He is a good shooter but not a great shooter, he can create his shot of the dribble OK but that is againt college level defense, and he has decent atheleticism (but less than Mo or Arceneux).
I am not sure yet if he will be a starter in pro-ball, I would have to see more from him. On the positive side he is young and very new to big time competition.

I was just checking out the Rivals draft site. A lot of the guys we're talking about at the 3 (DerMarr, Mo Pete, and Miller) were talked about as shooting guards. It was said that Miller actually has the best shot of the shooting guards that could come out this year. You can take that for what it's worth, but that was a concern y'all had mentioned about him, so I thought I'd throw that out. He's also significantly bigger than Mo Pete at 6'8, 215 lbs. Rudy knows what he's doing, but it's always fun to speculate.

Miller needs to stay one more year. he wasnt nearly as agressive enough in the championship game barely scoring at all. he is a very good player though. that florida team has a great chance to win it all if they stay in school.
the announcer made a great comment
agree w/ brahma rocket on that pass and the other stuff he put.

"the maturity levels in years are very tiny in size but significant. 18 year old and 19 year old kids are playing against 22 and 23 year old men"
