I can easily see these chumps fall early in the NCAA tournament. The last few weeks they've been narrowly squeaking out wins over abysmal West Coast Conference teams, the latest of which was 12-18 Loyola Marymount. Last week, they came back and got a 3 point win over San Francisco.

The Zags are a 2-man show with Morrison and Batista. They've only beaten 1 ranked team this season, and are undeserving of a #2 seed. I think the tournament will end up proving just how overrated this team is.

The LMU game today was the first time I saw Morrison play and I wasn't really impressed. At least not lottery pick impressed. He seems slow and like you said he barely gets them past mediocre teams. Also, he seems to walk a lot. No energy. Maybe he's usually better, but that's just what I thought of today's game. I think he shot kind of crappy today though so maybe it was just an off game for him.

Morrison will absolutely be a lottery pick and may very well be the best player in the nation.

Gonzaga isn't great...and I agree that I could see them getting knocked out early. But it wouldnt' shock me a bit to see them hit the Final Four.

I think Adam Morrison is the real deal, but the rest of his team stinks. If another mid-major team bottles him up in the tourney, the Zags will be screwed.

    I agree.

But if he goes Danny Manning on us, look out.

    Well, duh!

Add GW and to a lesser extent Memphis to that list. Wake me up when they start playing in real conferences before people rank them top-5 teams.

Try explaining to any Memphis or GW coach/player/fan how they are undeserving of any respect because of the the conference in which they play in.

Taking RPI into consideration: Memphis is currently ranked 6th in the nation.

Memphis lost to Duke by 3 points and played Texas. They're far different than George Washington, which non-conference schedule was just alarmingly horrendous (people compare them to St. Joseph of 2004, but that team actually played a balanced schedule and a RPI rating in the top 10 all season). Gonzaga scheduled good non-conference games too this year, but I have to agree they are an overrated team because their best win was the overtime game against Michigan State back in November, and that game is losing a lot of significance considering how unimpressive Michigan State looked during conference play.
