we need a small forward much more than a power forward in my opinion. I'd take Mo Peterson or DeMarr Johnson with our lotto pick and then Etan Thomas, Loren Woods or Jason Collier with Detroit's pick (if they give it to us).
if Loren Woods comes out, he's a top 3, or at worst, a top 5. I'm pretty sure if we want to resign Cuttino, he'll be guaranteed the starting SG spot, and I doubt we could have Shandon off the bench, which means, he's the SF. There's the SF answer. I'm hoping Haywood comes out.... ------------------ Rockets fans wanted at hoopsboards.com Draft Chat, NBA Chat, Team Chat, and more!
Yes, if Loren Woods back checks out OK I can't see him falling out of the top 5. Legit 7 footer who is a great shot-blocker and has some offensive game, he is already better than half the NBA centers. I like Woods and Mihm better than Haywood but would consider Haywood too. There just aren't many semi-athletic 7 footers in the world, if you see one there, you got to get him. [This message has been edited by sir scarvajal (edited March 27, 2000).]
