Living several states away and already being deprived of Rockets games as it is. This really is BS to ME! Hell I'd still watch them if Both T-mac and Yao weren't playing and our record sucked as much as the Hawks.
i think it's their way of saving face. they'd dog Yao every chance they get the past 3 years now. alot of thier analysts didn't see him as any better than a poor man's rik smits. now he's tearing it up and showcasing Yao would only mean they are eating crow. as for dropping the Rox games, i'm glad. the last thing we need is national embarrassment by the hands of the freaking Mavs.
Why do I get the feeling some people are "puttin the Mavs on a pedestal." Like they're the great MAValiath or something.
I hope next season the Rockets put more than just 14 games on tv 51 cause people without cable deserve to watch the Rockets games more than 14 times a season. I hope managment listens. Go Rockets!!!
Great, I can already see it right now. League Pass will forget that ESPN is not showing the Rockets game and then they will not show it either. I'll be stuck watching play-by-play on ESPN.
honestly the only reason i watch espn is cuz of the HD broadcasts. is it just me or does TNT have the WORST looking HD broadcasts. no matter if i set it anywhere from 480p to 1080i. it looks all pixelated and crappy. i hate HD NBA on TNT. its horrible. ESPN HD is where its at.
YES! everytime the Rox are on ESPN, I cant watch the game cuz my girl dont got cable, and NBA LP won't show it on broadband if its on ESPN
What are they going to replace them with Knicks, Lakers and 76er's games. You can't tell me its becuase we have a sucky record, is Yao losing his star appeal?
You guys are so silly. ESPN is in this for one thing and one thing only: money. If the Rockets sucking brought TV ratings, you could damn sure bet they'd be on national TV. The Knicks get on a few times each year because there are 10 million people in NYC and they draw fans to the television set. This has nothing to do with respect. It has to do with making money. Period.
