    Dynamo Houston, eh?

Maybe they could use Frank Zappa's song "Dynamo Humm" as their themesong!

    :D

The name is awful. What a disaster.

While I wouldn't actually do it, I did briefly consider canceling my season tickets.

    Houston Mexico

New team colors are red, white, and green

    Maybe that won't offend everyone.....

Same here. In the end they have soccer fans by the balls and we'll give them money to see games regardless. But I won't be buying any merchandise from them, I can easily do without that.

Also, the supporters group will have banners, t-shirts, and chants about 1836 to keep the memory alive.

In theory, you could make your own 1836 merchandise, so long as it didn't use the prior logo. You can't copyright a date.

Next time you go to the Dynamo game you could wear this inside to secretly protest the name change:

Most Mexicans weren't (at least from my experiance). Politicians and activists took it upon themselves to speak for the Mexican community though.

that's a great point, i didn't hear a single Mexican complain about the name, in times like this is when i can do without politicians, and well... most of the time i could do without politicians.
