I think that Moochie is a better player than Brunson. Not that I was attached to Moochie, but I feel like JVG will never, ever give Lampe any real minutes. So what's the point of dumping Moochie and picking up this retread? The off-season, and hope, can't get here soon enough for me.
Moochie is definitely NOT better than Brunson. Out of the people that were available, I would say this is a good pick-up for us based on what we need.
I want a new coach. I've given up on JVG. Wasn't rick brunson in that bowling movie with bill murray? oh...wait...that was munson. lol
Exactly. He's Adam Everett. He can turn the double or throw to first, but you've got one less stick in the lineup. He'd better be able to throw some remarked passes because he's not going to help spread the floor at all.
Johnny Miller. He was a Freshman when Brunson was a Senior. Before that there was Aaron McKie and Eddie Jones.
Mckie and Jones is who I must have been thinking about. I was thinking he played on a decent temple team.
Yeah he had a lot of options at that time going to Jones and McKie...definitly helped his assist numbers. His main job was to get them the ball and he did do that efficiently.
Definitily agree. Moochie could score better than Brunson but there is no way that he ran the offense better than I have seen Brunson run offenses in the league. Most of these comments are coming from people that have never seent his guy play. If you have league pass and watched him last year you will know he was a very good backup point guard for the Clippers with good numbers for the time he played.
Brunson will be a VERY good pickup. I kept up with him becasue, of all things, he was on my fantasy basketball team as a third PG. First thing that is good about him is that he has his head on staright. No ego. You know how some guys comlain about not getting their shots, or not getting to play, or whatever? Not Rick. He's a real team guy. Matter of fact, I bet of you do a google search on him, you'll turn up nothing but good things. He is definitly what the Rox need, a passing PG with enough seniority to play within himself. It's not a major move, no, but that's not what the team needs. This is one of those quiet, glue-type moves that helps hold a team together. He's a smart player. One of those guys who you never want starting but love to have as a solid player off the bench. I have always liked the guy. Just becasue some of you haven't heard of hijm doesn't mean he's not good, just means you haven't heard of him. Or you're not as smart as you think you are.
That's the same reason i kept up with him last year when he was on the Clippers he was my back up point guard after i had some injuries. He never gave me many points but i always counted on the 5 or more Assists he provided. So i would watch Clipper games on TV just to check out how he plays.
Definitly enjoyed seening Bruson play...very smart and did create well for the team the little time he was in the game.
If this means that Luther plays less then excellent. Head made a couple of truly stupifying decisions in this game, not to mention the poor FT shooting. He hasn't just hit the wall, he's hit the wall and had it fall down on top of him.
