    Anyone else having AIM problems? I'm trying to sign on and I keep getting "Aim service cannot be reached" I guess that AIM isnt down, and Its not my schools network because others are signed on as well. Any thoughts on what it might be? Any help is appreciated

    hmm it's working fine for me...i just signed off and signed back on...

    AIM mail isn't working for me, though. it keeps going to an error page.

    Yeah, that happens from time-to-time. I'm pretty sure it'll just be a temporary thing for you. I hate AOL, but I've always used AIM since that's what everyone's used since middle school (in college now). It's too bad most people aren't on something else. Yes, I know there are probably better alternatives, but AIM is most widely used.

    So, i am on now, but for some reason I cant see text that is sent to me in an IM, anyone know how to solve that problem? I tried uninstalling and re-installing

    use Trillian if you must use AIM

    much better program and it also allows you to use it with other IM services(MSN,yahoo) in the same interface.

    I've been having that problem a lot lately. I use GAIM, but when this happens, I use Meebo
