Were our guards Freezing him out???? Esp down the stretch
Several times we came down . . and Tmac didn't touch the ball
Like the announcers I was like. . WTF?

A couple of times YAO got it. . no problem
but then other times. . . Role players forgot their role

A few times during the game . I say Tracy Post
only to watch the ball swing the other way . .
I was at a loss for words cause he had good position

I'm hard on Tracy but it seems like the others
were not playing with him tonite

Rafer Alston and David Wesley thought they were bigger than Yao and T-Mac. Sigh!

BTW, Alston can pass but can't defend and shoot.

I always had a high regard for dwes's Basket Ball IQ- but the last 2 3 pointers ( the first one when we were down 3) was just not smart. I know he was wide open, but we should not have taken those 3's with the kind of shooting night the guys were having.

OK exactly...I saw him in good position but they wouldn't throw him the ball. That's not his fault. Where is he in the 4th? I dont' know , he wasn't getting the ball. I feel like shooting ****ing Rafer Alston for being a dumbass in the 4th, but it's just one game. Just one game that has a lot to do with how our season will end.

He did hit that 3 when we were down 5 to bring us to 2, but then Rafer couldn't guard Iverson who drained the bucket, then Wesley had to be the superstar tonight and took the 3...miss.

    Ball game.

Tmac's 4th gear only seems to last for a few minutes right now.

Wesley has been making some really dumb passes the last couple of games.

I know Yao was charged with 4 TO's but some of those passes seemed a bit low and a couple were like bullets. A little more on them than what was really needed.

Yao and two-buck Chuck seemed to have some chemistry going on!

Tmac doesnt look like he wants to shoot it either. Throwing the ball to guys like wesley and making them take the game winner.

I said this long ago. Yao is TRASH IN THE FOURTH QUARTER. He always has been. He isnt someone you can go to in teh clutch. The best part of Yao's game is in the 1st half. HE is drained out and useless in the final 5 minutes of a game.

The kid can score 25 in teh first half. Dont be excited, be worried. Cause it means he will be a non factor the rest of the game.

you can't really blame alston. iverson is an extremely good shooter. i thought mcgrady was good tonight. i hope he continues until the end of the season (whether we make it to the playoffs or not). yao was also good, but if only he could improve on making big shots at the end, it would be great!

When the team is not hitting their shots, TMAC should be handling the ball and be the primary ball handler. Alston should be used as a decoy point guard in that situation.

Heck this may be off on a tangent- the only saving grace today is that Utah lost to bobcats and lakers may lose to Portland! ( an maybe NOK to Clippers- still in the 3rd quarter)

What?!!! He might not be the most clutch player in the league, but he is FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR from trash.

bplld, I know we just lost the game and you're upset just like everyone else here, so take a deep breath and re-evaluate that statement. :)

Yao carries a 7'6" frame, fatigue will ALWAYS be a fact of life for him, his stamina has already improved tremendously over the past few years, he's in near peak physical condition right now.

i was thinking about his productivity in fourth quarters too. since he averages close to 34 min./game, he could play: full first half, half of 2nd quarter, only 4 min. in the beginning of third, and the whole last quarter. that's a good 20 min. or so rest for him.
