My friend has been a huge YAO hater while I've been defending him throughout. It's beautiful to rub it in now! Go Yao!!! All the Yao haters go eat crap!
Yao Ming will never get his due no matter how well he does in the NBA. He could average 25 and 15, and still be called a stiff by some people. People look at his height at 7'6 and think he should be better than Wilt Chamberlain. Shawn Bradley, Manute Bol, and Rik Smits never averaged anywhere near 20 points and 10 rebounds, yet why do the critics always have to point to his height in their criticism? Face it, there will always be haters out there no matter what. I also think it also has to do with him being a big man in the NBA, since Centers have always been criticized going back from Wilt and Kareem. Wasn't it Wilt who said "No bother loves Goliath?"
