I don't think their remaining schedule is that bad. You take out those games with the Spurs and Mavs who are playing at an insane clip and the rest are all winnable.
Hahahaha this thread is hilarious. But yeah, we don't have the easiest part of our schedule, but it's OK, the harder the better, I'd rather we play hard teams and be ready for the playoffs than play easy teams, get into the playoffs, and lose the first round, again. Assuming we make the playoffs playing the hard teams, of course.
The point is, if we make the playoffs, we deserve to be there because we can beat good teams. If we don't make the playoffs, we've proven we can't hang with the big boys and we didn't deserve to be there in the first place. Getting to the playoffs to get swept out of the first round is the worst case scenario. At least if you don't make the playoffs you're in the lottery with a potentially better draft pick.
If we start getting some consistent Head play again, Luther that is, I think there will be plenty of nuts for us
Some of you guys should be beaten with boards I swear. Your team has won 10 of the last 12 is one of the best road teams in the nba and is only 3 games out of the 8th seed with 25 games still to play. The Lakers don't have it easy easier with games coming up against the spurs twice and the pistons one so we are very much still in this 8th seed race. PLus when its all said and done the Rockets will pass the Jazz and the Kings because the jazz are a group of role players who are just well coached and play a system well together. The Kings only have Artest and Bibby and thats not enough to make the playoffs. It will be the Rockets and Lakers who fight it out for that 8th seed mark my words. Go Rockets!!!

So, the consensus is that the Rockets will need a lot of intesticle fortitude to make the playoffs, but that they will go balls out and prove the doubters to be sackless wonders. Er, something.
Nice to see we're moving up... Also nice to see our record these days. I'm taking a look at it and yeah we're under .500, but considering where we were 25-31 makes me feel pretty good, especially since we're only 3 back of the Lakers. I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
considering we were 15-29 not too long ago i am thrilled with the recent play of late. no surprise it coincided with the return of yao. i know we can beat the suns tonight if we come out with intensity. but i think we have enough to make it to the playoffs even if tonight ends up in a L. the lakers do have an easier schedule but in all honestly we are a better team, a much better team than them when healthy. here's to believing, GO ROXS!
