Do you know what you just said? lol

I like the deal.. we didn't get worse so thats always good. DA wasn't going to step on the floor again this season.. atleast we got someone who is young, can play defense and contribute.

I think the trade is decent. Rafer had been playing heavy minutes lately since there was no back up pg. Hopefully Fitch can come in and run the offense and play some defense. I wasnt expecting a whole lot for Anderson anyway, I just wished it could have worked out in Houston for him.

I've seen Fitch play a couple of games with Miami. I came away impressed with his energy and he looked like he can hit a jumper.

We should consider ourselves lucky to get DA's contract off of our hands, and Wesley would've gotten us nothing but bloated contracts in return.

Some of you expected to much with what we have. We're in a good situation. Expiring contracts are overrated.

For those people, if you are not Super Man, then you are garbage. They will come up with one after another super genius trade idea, just to get rid of you for the sake of the trade.

I doubt Seattle would have traded Flip Murray to us. He'd give us a third scorer possibly, which would improve our team, and worsen their chances for a playoff spot in the future.

Maybe this trade was a salary dump, and we're opening up some money to sign Sprewell??? He's still out there and could be a spark of energy for this team. Van Gundy knows how to coach him, and Sprewell seems to respect JVG. I doubt it, but you never know.

DA is a scrub. Miami will probalby cut him. No way he'll earn any playing time over there, they have enough minutes to divide as it is. DA isn't worth crap, I feel like we got a steal and I don't even know much about this other guy.

I just watched the 2003 or 2004 Regional game in which Kentucky lost to UAB. Fitch and Hayes were hooping for the Cats.

This was just a Spring cleaning deal, we just took out some trash. Clearly, JVG did not want Anderson anywhere near his Rockets. Even better, he got to unload him on Pat Riley after what he did to Stan.

What does it matter, we always let our trade exceptions expire...

    Um... Mike James.

Last year we traded the exception for Mike James, Gaines for Zendo, and 2nd round picks to them.

Beat me to it... while it's not a guarentee the exception will net a good player, it is nice to know it's available if an opportunity arises.

I am OK with the trade. I was hoping for a second round pick for the Charman soft DA. DA was as bad a defensive player as I ever hope to see on the Rockets. I think the previous threads in favor if this trade said it all, Fitch is a quick, defensive minded player who may add some spunk and fire to the defensive end.

man 33% FG pentcentage. I wont call this guy a shooter. I get it. If you can listen to JVG, you get minutes no matter who you are Bowen, Hayes. If not, you get your azz shipped out for someone who will. Our offense is the problem, not defense. We are yet shoring up defense.

after seeing seattle get flip murray for mike wilks and a pick, i'm wondering if we missed the boat on that one. it would seem we would be able to get flip for da straight up, maybe a conditional 2nd round pick as well.

anyway, since we seem to be trading for recent graduates of the university of kentucky, can we trade JVG, a 2nd round pick, and a stick of gum for tubby smith?????

If Seattle doesnt want Flip, why would they take DA, an older Flip, for return.
