For all those who have played in the league I ran for the past few years -- unfortunately, I don't think I can be the commish for this year. The main reason is due to my current schedule and plans for later in the year. School, personal commitments and future plans will make me unreliable this year. Also, my Internet access is not stable. The house in which I live has a wireless connection which can be spotty at times. As well, I will be moving this year, most likely twice, so that will interfere with things when it happens. It wouldn't even be that bad, but for the fact that the Fanstar system does not keep count of games used properly, so I have had to add them up manually for each team every week and keep a running count in a notebook. I don't think I will have time for that this year. Nor will I be consistently available to make lineup changes, as in the past. It's too bad, because I was planning some interesting changes for the league... but those will have to wait. I will definitely still run a team in the league, and will certainly be around as a co-commish to help out. But, someone else really needs to be the main man in charge this year. Hopefully someone will step up to the plate.
Translation : I'm going to be too busy going to opera houses and art galleries with my girl to pay you poor losers the time of day. sigh. Another one bites the dust.
Nah, I'll still be around, and will even do the commish thing if I have to. I just won't be as reliable/accessible as I was in the past, especially during those weeks that I move, so it might be a good idea to have someone else in charge.
Join my league gosh darnit, Beav! I plan on living for atleast another 5 years or so and I'll gleek on every one of you if you quit midseason. How could you pass such a deal up?
