Isn't this good news for any male artist. Except maybe if you were pissing on the girl and she was 14 years old.

 

OK, so rock groupies are nothing new, and I would expect it from Kid Rock, but... just thinking of all the Christian lyrics and image that Creed had back in '99... I guess this is our piece of shattered innocence for the day.

 

I guess if the years of well-known drug and alcohol abuse and just being an all around a-hole didn't do it, the I guess this might.

 

As if 80 percent of the males on this board wouldn't trade their lives for his in an instant.

Noteriety, groupies, hot wife, money. Sounds good to me.

id have to agree. thats the type of singer that was ruining rock and roll for a while. although im glad to say R & R has made a great comeback the last few years. tons of great stuff out there.

 

I'm afraid I have to disagree. Creed wasn't a great band, but they were certainly better than Franz Ferdinand, Coldplay, Fall Out Boy, Sum 41, and most of the other crap on the radio these days.

The state of popular rock music today is horrible, at least in the U.S. And it's all due to record company's shoving crap down our throats with their payolla marketing. The situation is much better in Europe where they don't have the same problem. Hell, when I was over there a few years ago, I actually heard Iron Maiden getting regular radio airplay with their newer singles. That's something that will never happen here. Our stations have to make room for the newest piece of crap releases from Green Day or System of a Down.

Rock music has been generally ****ty since the grunge era began. Most but not all good music that has come out since then has been 80's bands that continued to soldier on with their style, except forced to do so in obscurity due to lack of radio airplay.

 

I seriously would rather trade my life with a cockroach than with Scott Stapp.

 

it sounds like to me that you just have diffrent taste in music then me. i havent listened to coldplay's newest cd (didnt like what i heard so i never bought it) but there first 2 cds were to my liking alot better then freaking creed. that singers voice is so dime a dozen its sad.

Creed is part of the crap that is still on the radio these days. Better than Coldplay?? Come on man, Creed is one of the worst bands in the history of the world.

 

man Manny, Aceshigh7 may be a bigger music snob than you (except for liking creed, which may actually automatically disqualify him from music snob status, i'll have to check the rules), you might have to step up your game. he even dissed american music vs european, which is like a new level.

Ya, I think you are right. I know he didn't say he liked him, but just mentioning that Creed is better than ANY band is enough to not make him a music snob.

 

What are you smoking? If you're serious, you've just lost all my respect. Creed is the worst band of all-time.
