Big mouth Barkley said boldly that Houston will not make the playoffs

Regardless of what we do from now on, it doesn't look good for Lakers. Kings and Warriors are also knocking their door. One of the teams (including us) is bound to take that last seat away from them.

 

Explain to me why we care what Charles Barkley said, again?

The Rockets are definetly going to pass the WArriors and Timberwolves but then the real test will be between the Rockets,Kings and Lakers to see who gets that 8th seed. I like our chances though. Go Rockets!!!

 

Not true. I'm in a college class with 30 people and our teacher walked around with a map of Europe and asked each student to point to a particular country. Maybe three of us knew immediately knew where are country was. The teacher didn't even know them all to my suprise. The guy asked to point at Italy had no idea where it was, and he wasn't the only one that missed an easy one. I knew them all. I had to learn them all, some with capitals, when I was in the sixth grade. People are stupid.

 

yeah man that was great. i live in OKC and if any of you guys had seen the reaction of people around here after he said that stuff, you would be rolling! it was the top story on the news! they interviewed the governor, the mayor, government officials, byron scott, everybody you could think of. it was so obvious that most of them had no idea what kind of a joker charles is cause they were all sooooooo offended. i loved it.

 

I'd pick both the Rockets and the Kings. I think the Hornets are gonna fade big time and LA has already played as good as it can. 1 man teams never work.

 

Well, it's going to be very difficult to make the playoffs, the odds are against us (heavy odds against us, to be honest).

So yes, we have a slim chance of getting a playoff spot, but more likely than not we won't make it; as McGrady once said, It's not just a hole that we dug ourselves in the first half of the season, it's a canyon.

 

I disagree...I met Barkley on the last night of his career when he was leaving the Compact Center and he was nothing but class. He actually stopped his car and signed autographs (including a jersey I still have today) Pippen on the other hand turned his head when I approached his vehicle - A total a$$ - although pretty much what you'd expect from Scotty Quitten.

Yeah, I hate Barkley's dissing the Rox, but I don't think he's a bad guy - I think he's jealous he never won a Championship and doesn't want any players that are not as good as he was to win one either. Except perhaps Geeeeeennnnnnoooooooooooobbbbbbblllllllllliiiiiiiii. - Whatever!

 

That's just Chuck being Chuck, guys.

But if anything it helps our team by giving them extra motivation.
