Big mouth Barkley said boldly that Houston will not make the playoffs

I WANT him to say that every single program. What better motivation to psyche about Tmac and his boys!

Wow, that is great news, now the Rockets are virtually a lock! That takes off alot of pressure.

 

Yup ... Rockets are now definitely a lock for the playoffs. Remember this is the guy who said Yao will never score 20 points in a game, and ate crow the very same night he said it. Heheheh.

 

people act like 4 games is impossible. and does it NOT matter at all that tmac and yao were out huge portions of this season.

love barkley but sometimes i dont know if he really even thinks before he says stuff.

 

After the first Rox game televised on TNT this season , Barkley said that the Rockets were the 2nd Best Team in the Western Conference and they would challenge the Spurs--then the losing streak began...

Now he is saying the Rockets "are no juggernaut" and that "Houston WILL NOT make the playoffs--let's see what happens

 

i really don't see why people get so heated when charles says something bad about the rockets, especially when they are 22-30. hell, i don't think we will make the playoffs. i hope we do, but the way this season is going, we might lose another couple of players to injuries and we are right back at being a top 5 pick in the draft.

there are a lot of if's involved in us making the playoffs. IF we stay healthy. IF we can actually win games at home. IF we can beat really good teams during the rough part of our schedule coming up. IF JVG opens up our offense on a consistent basis letting us get in the open court and fastbreak more for easy points. IF we can get consistent production from our SG and PF positions.

 

I know he doesn't think. This is the same guy that thought Argentina was just west of India. I kid you not. They asked him to spot 6 countries on a world map and he marked almost every one on the wrong continent. The only place he could identify was Alabama, his home state. You might as well have the Iraqi Information Minister on TNT -- I'm sure he'd fare much better with his opinions.

 

Actually barkley said he would never score 40.And he scored 44.
Another thing about barkley hes said it himself hes paid to say the first thing that comes to his mind and doesnt think too hard about it.
I actually meet him on night when they where having there camp near austin a few years back.What an A$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.Was completely rude.

He didn;t say that the A$$ kissing night. He said that he would never score 19. Yao scored 20 over a Shaq free lakers.

I love the Rockets, but Barkley is probably right. We are a better healthy team than the Lakers, but we lost a lot of games early and our schedule isn't getting easier after the All-Star break. You shouldn't get offended about this kind of crap, especially when there's truth to it. What got me was Elton Brand's comment that Chris Kaman was the best center in the West, although he actually said that he couldn't think of a better center (it's just obvious that Yao is the best center in the West, if not the league...Shaq comes close, though).
