This is clear, Isaiah is the stupidest GM ever, and everyone's taking advantage of him before he gets fired. Seattle is about to unload Evans and Fortson's contract for Penny, Denver is about to unload KMart's poop contract for whoever. Everyone is getting in line to rape NY, and we can't lag behind. Let's join the party and take advantage of Isaiah.

The question is, what do we want?

Since Isaiah is an idiot anyways.. and we dont have any undersized PF's left I would trade

JHoward / DA for Frye and next season's unconditional #1 pick. LOL

How many undersized mediocre PF's does one team need?

i like juwon howard but i would like to move him because of his contract. how about jho and Da for penny's expiring contract? Im not sure if the salaries match up though. i know we dont need penny, but i think he is in the last year of his contract.

Isaiah has some competition for that title; there are other contenders. Remember the guy in Orlando? Actually, Isaiah is very bright guy, he has just made some bad deals. He took Moochie, but he was smart enough to give him back. I can't believe the Hornets took him, that GM is in contention.

Arguably, David Lee, Nate Robinson, Jamal Crawford and Quentin Richardson are more or less on the block. Channing Frye is not going anywhere. Not even Isaiah is that stupid.

What do we have to offer?

Mutombo and Wesley aren't going anywhere. Barry has to agree, and he wouldn't agree to a trade to the Knicks. Question is, can we turn a combination of DA+TE+Bowen+Howard into any of them? I don't think that moving Swift and Head is worth getting any of the above.

That being said, I would love a trade for any of the above young Knicks if all we have to part is our fodder.

CD needs to get on the phone with Isaiah and convince him that his strategy of collecting individual talent is an enlightened path, but since they are having a hard time with the powerful Eastern Conference maybe we could provide them with a hard nosed character guy to make passes and grab loose balls. We would be happy to take some out-of-control young gun off the team in exchange for David Wesley who can teach the Knicks about team play.

I don't know what's worse, the Knicks players or their contracts.

    Pass on the entire roster.

I don't know. If the Knicks should in fact decide to take Kenyon Martin, Isiah will officially become the dumbest GM ever. Is he trying to make history with the Knicks' payroll or what?

If you're having to think of how to con Isiah Thomas, you're not doing it right...

Funny how the tables turn on GMs. A couple years ago, everyone wanted Rod Thorn's head for the S&T of KMart. Kidd almost bit the big one on that. Not to mention all the negative run Thorn got from the local and national media about how bad a deal he made. Now, he looks like a genius.
