Add Alonzo Mourning to that list. Even before the kidney illness, dude was ferocious on every single play and is just as much now.

As far as non stars go, Ryan Bowen, Darell Armstrong, Bo Outlaw.

    Iverson.

You simply can't coast when you're his size, yet excel as he does.

Ryan Bowen, because he is a below average YMCA guy, but manages to survive in the NBA.

I wouldnt include AI since he doesnt like practice and doesnt seem to work on his game during the offseason as much as others. He does always lay it on the line during the games though. I would also omit Artest he hasnt been doing anything during his suspensions (both years)

    I would add..

Amare his maturation as a player is hard work and of course Nash =)

Yao. He has to work extra harder every game because of his size.

Name another player that plays at a high level that doesn't have an off-season.

Yao has to be top 3. From being pushed down by players as weak as Steve Nash in his first year to dunking on people now. Coming back from a severe injury 2 weeks ahead of schedule and still being in good shape. Being 7'6" and playing almost injury-free his first four years. I'd say Yao works extremely hard and pushes his limitations, but it doesn't show as much because of.. his limitations.

Ginobli plays all out, works very hard every minute he is on the court.

the whole practice thing with ai makes me question a tiny bit of his hardworkingness.

Isn't Artest the same guy who wanted to take a season off to work on being a producer?

What about someone like Najera? Or Chuck Hayes...that guy actually hustles more than Bowen.

Dwyane Wade! Just look at his progression from college to where he's at now in the league. Takes hard work!

Any player in the top 10 or 15 should be considered as a hard worker. You dont get there by just being athletic. We have lots of Swifts in the league but very few Kobes , Tmacs, or KG's.

Also a couple left out i would add are Duncan and T-mac. Yes I know T-mac has had issues with this before but he broke his back working out this offseason.
