who besides McGrady has hit more clutch shots this year than Luther? Answer: no one. He has talent and confidence and should be a rotation fixture for years. How many rookie guards can play defense anyway?

oh no, head is no good, blah blah blah. he is a rookie and shown a lot of promise this year, so wait another few games and post how head is doing such a suck job this year because you are obviously an expert on NBA talent. We all like hearing the sound of broken records like you. YAWN!

Agreed. I haven't seen anything quite like Luther's release. Makes me uncomfortable watching him sometimes.

Yeah, the hot potato release. No-follow through. Compare Luther's release to Ben Gordon's. It's like night and day.

i'm with you Cohen - R111 left off a bunch. but you turned his words around. he didn't mention all of our draftees that were rookies, but rather all of our rookies that we drafted. For example, he's talking about Luther, not Rubber Chucky [Hayes].

or drafting.. i seriously question our scouts... head isnt bad AT ALL by any means.. so i'm not talking about this particular situation.. however overall the rockets scouts don't seem that good.. dallas and san antonio always seem to draft quality talent even with low picks. yao was the only GOOD pick they had in recent years but that was a NO BRAINER.. other than that, they're mediocre at best..

Luther is has a lot of thing to work on. His game inside the 3 point line is very bad. He need to use his speed more.

His rookie season is a little over halfway done, it is best to make a final judgement about him now. Why wait and see what happens. After all for about 25 of the seasons 50 games he was playing absolutely sensational. But it is better and more wise to make a final be all and end all judgement about only the last half of the games he played.

Don't you guys think Chris Paul is much better and suitable for the Rockets than Luther? We had a chance to pick him

Paul is nice, but I heard that we had a chance to travel back in time and pick a young Jason Kidd. Stupid CD can't recognize a good opportunity when it bites him on the ass!

Sorry I'm not quite sure about that, I heard that from Yao's broker mingji Zhang on TV on the game with Utah.

Chris Paul was a #4 pick. Luther was picked at #24. We didn't have a chance. Hell, we couldn't even move up 8-9 picks to draft Gerald Green let alone a top 5 pick like Paul.

Well then I would say, Luther is a good choice with that pick.
