hey guys a while back someone posted a download manager program that would allow me to download streaming video files. like if there was a asx/rm file you would type in the url and it would download the video to your hd rather than stream it. anyone remember the name of this program? i had it but forgot to back it up when i upgraded my pc, i am actually in need of it right now. any help is appreciated thanks
NetTransport is a good app. Also, a company call Applian makes a app called WMRecorder that I've used. Some nice features, including manual URL, proxy, and direct ADA modes. Availble at: http://www.wmrecorder.com/ They also make a RMRecorder for Real streams. Quite handy.
