    Kobe > Tmac

I am glad we have Tmac, but man Kobe is just a vastly superior player. He is more aggressive, attacks the basket more often, and is clearly a better ball player.

I am content with Tracy, but man, I wish he had Kobe's competitive fire.

Tmac is settling for too many 3s, he needs to attack more often.

    Tough game tonight.

    ummm....

    Kobe > Injured Tmac

And this year Tmac has been playing hurt. Even a blind person could tell by today's game that Tmac is playing hurt. He is not even close to full health. :(

man, u can't compare an injured tmac against kobe... did you even watch tmac defending kobe? kobe couldn't even get a good shot off and missed all his shots against tmac. that's even with a back bad tmac

Tmac is close to Kobe when healthy, but he's not Kobe's level. What could get him there? Drive in more and hit a better FT %

I wouldn't go that far in saying Kobe is a vastly superior player. Even though he has demonstrated that he is better this year, remember that Mac is still playing with an injured back.

You cant compare. Plus, yalls lover boy JVG put a 6-1 gaurd on kobe. Against a jump shooter, thats not going to be effective, and it wasnt.

You don't think Tmac would be driving in more if he had a healthy back? Everytime he drives in he gets hammered. It has to effect him psychologically.

Not to mention Van Gundy does nothing to help Tmac and Yao score. This team's offensive ineptness is mind boggling.

It's not the reason we lost tonight.

The reason is: PJ >> JVG!

It is clear that with the exception of a short period starting the third period, Mr. Van Gundy was badly outcoached.

Thats not the only reason, but definitely a big one.

One thing is clear - this thread is idiotic. Why compare a Kobe in his prime to an obviously injured Tmac?

While we're at it, lets do some more comparisons:

    - Shaq is superior to 5 quadraplegic r****ded children.

    - Dirk Nowitzki is less than or equal to a box of tampons.

    - Eating a bagful of chips is superior to eating a pillowcase-full of doorknobs.

I don't discount this at all, Chuck Hayes should be playing, the guy adds so much more to the team, I don't know what the hell happened to his PT, unless we are giving up on this season and we are hiding him on the roster for next year.

Look, Tmac is injured, but all players play hurt, and Kobe is just so much more of a competitor than Tmac....he plays harder more consistently.

Do I want him on the Rockets....no....I want Tmac, I am just saying that it is clear that Kobe is better by a good amount.

Certainly he is more of a winner.

Agree and this is one mistake that JVG makes time after time. I wouldn't be surprised to find that JVG wants DW back with his Rockets next season!.
JVG was not out coached, he isnt a good coach. He couldn't be out coached by another coach that can't coach.

He is such a great winner that he is yet to make the playoffs without Shaq.,

JVG was not the problem, it was the players they couldnt hit squat, so quit putting the blame where it doesnt belong

oh and i agree with DaDakota, Kobe > Tmac, and im a homer and never liked bryant
i noticed tmacs trend last year too, if we were down by to much he would sit in the fourth, yao would always be out there, what this team needs is for Yao to take over as the #1 option, and demand the ball

I'm saying that even when healthy, TMAC relies WAY too much on jumpers. Sure he gets calls when he goes in, but he doesnt do it half as much as Kobe.......also his FG % and FT % is nothing to be proud of, even when he is healthy........I'd still rather have TMAC any day, but damn.........
