Very poor pass. Kobe was already running towards the interception point while Mac still had the ball.
Kobe is having a better all-around game than T-mac... that's the game RIGHT THERE. T-Mac isn't even guarding Kobe... I can't imagine him doing that will make his offensive game any better. If T-Mac doesn't score, we're not that good of a team.
I can't figure it out either, what a joke! McGrady playing like crap on offense, yah he's passing, but he ain't making a dang shot. Kobe already heated up, so forget trying to hold him now, but I would make McGrady defend him if JVG insists on defending Kobe 1-on-1, at least then MCGrady can contribute to the game on the defensive end.
Just making an observation (I suppose we should keep going back to him now that he's back in the game)...
JVG was saving T-mac for Kobe in the 4th quarter... not a bad strategy, but I wish we had a lead, cause unless Tracy kicks it into overdrive (without worrying about his back), he could run out of energy on the offensive end.
What do you know? JVG puts T-Mac on Kobe, and he forces Kobe to take three tough shots which he clanks and Kobe cools off...how suprising! Not one of JVG's best games as far as his coaching is concerned...every single time he required an adjustment he made it later than he should've.
