I imagine the big guys (EA, Activision, THQ, etc.) will be making games for it (or current-gen consoles to be specific IIRC) for quite a while. I think I read that one or two of those companies would be supporting current-gen systems up to around 2008 or so. I think Microsoft will quit supporting the console themselves, but these other publishers will probably still support it some. With how many PS2s and Xboxs there are out there, I imagine they'll want to support the consoles as long as possible, at least until most people get a next-gen console.
Another question I forgot. Recently my X-Box has started skipping and the video gmaes/dvd's disks are new. Has anyone else had this problem?
your dvd drive is prob going bad, dont get it fixed though MS charges a 100 dollars to fix with only a 90 day warranty, buy a new one or upgrade to the 360
They will continue to release games through the end of the year, they just aren't starting any new production of games. Scarface will be the last great game on the Xbox.
Thanks for all the help. I am going to purchase the ebay item. EA will not produce any games after 2007?
