Whats the difference between a barber and hair stylist? I thought a hair stylist was for gay men and women and maybe some girly men.
my old barber was a catcher for years in the orioles' farm system. had great stories and loved talking baseball. he died a couple of months back. so sad to see him go.
i need a hair cut..... the usual place i go to charges $10 for cut + shampoo (twice), before and after. i tip $3 + the money i spend on the tollway to get there its about $18 total. if anyone knows a good place in the NW side im open to suggestions.
Yes, that's what I'm talking about. TGF haircutters on west gray. It's a bunch of Asian women - when they try to speak to me, I just keep repeating, "WHAT? I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU'RE SAYING". That shuts 'em up after saying that a couple of times.
the only drawback of getting a 3 dollar haircut is the haircutter yelling in your ears in some language you have no idea of. "IIII CONG, LI MOTAAABISOOMA"
yea, and when they screw up your haircut and you start b****in' they can say, "me noah speaka engrish."
If you are just throwing the hair away, it's really a great solution. You can go to Salons that are listed on the LOL website (http://www.locksoflove.org/), and they'll cut it for free and mail it for you. I just take the clippers to it at home and then mail the package myself, just follow the instruction they have on the site. You don't get to see who got your hair, but it feels great to know it helped.
Haha.... My wife is a stylist and I get it free. She charges 25 bucks for mens haircut and they usually tip 10-20 bucks. She has a steady male clientel. But the her female clientel is where its at. She owns her own business.
i just go to sportsclips after work one day a month. I think its 15 for cut and shampoo, usually walk out for 22, and watch sportscenter while its being done.
I had no idea so many people tip when they get a haircut. Considering the way I get my haircut requires nothing but the elctric clippers, I have a hard enough time paying $12. If I ever leave a tip its only a buck. Let me guess, all of you guys tip at Sonic....
I guess I am a tool: $35-50 plus a $10 tip. I have found that, with my hair, I get what I pay for. So I pay more.
