I was in full agreement of "Getting Riddy of Rudy" but I think with this team (no Francis carelessness and Mobley idiocy) I think he could do a lot of damage to other teams and make a real run for the Championship.

What's the point of this thread?

Rudy's retired for good, his words not mine.

As much as I love the guy, he's had to leave his last two jobs prematurely hasn't he? I might be mistaken. I wish it were a possiblity though. On the other hand, I actually like Van Gundy. I really do think he gives the guys all the tools and knowledge to win. They just have to go out and execute it. We were close in most of the games in the injury stretch. You know the old saying, if you can't execute you won't win. unless you are the steelers, hahaha

Rudy can't coach anymore, it's for his own good and for his own health, so consider what's good for him if you really care about him as a person and not just as a coach.

murph was so annoying but that was the charm of him and worrell together.
classic sitcom elements. the wild and annoying guy and the straight laced.

true, but I love it when drexler imitates mutombo, "not in my house!"

he turn my opinion around on him 180 degree, or is it 360 degrees ;)

simliar to dumb and dumber...Just when I thought Drexler couldn't get any worse, he goes off and does that...AND COMPLETELY REDEEMS HIMSELF!

    Although I don't agree with Einstein....(man do I feel weird saying that) :p ...

I do think we should bring him back in some capacity, maybe not as a coach
or a GM but it's just absurd for a Rocket Icon to be working for the Fakers!
C'mon Les make it happen.....Bring back Rudy !

    P.S.
C'mon Les bring back Calvin !

Eh? Just because you don't think JVG is the solution doesn't mean that Rudy is. Indeed, it's highly possible (though JVG deserves some more time) that neither man is a great fit right now.

Yea, because Rudy would have us in the middle of the fight for home court advantage without having Yao and TMac.
