VY has changed people's mind, he has changed a lot of the hater's minds, what's the problem with that? There has been doubts about VY ever since he put on a jersey, he's done EVERYTHING possible to shut them up, but I think we can all agree that there will always be doubters, but who cares?

Don't you think it's kinda funny that you bumped this thread up because you wanted to show people that they had doubts about VY, yet all it shows is how much VY has improved in his time at UT.

Look at Baqui's post above, I don't think VY could have possibly done anymore in 3 year's to shut the doubters up. Now we're suppose to listen to you because you predict there will be a regression? What a joke.

Odd, coming from a guy who was constantly talking about how Vince is terrible a little over a month ago.

Ic -- honestly, you have zero credibilty on this. there are people who changed their opinon on VY as he improved. that's clear. your clearly are so biased as to be completely subjective at this point. welcome to hatah-ville.

His mid range game looked fine this year.

Actually, look at guys like Carson Palmer and David Carr. They went from almost second day picks to first overall.

But, what if we see the WR version again? You know the one Mad Max and Baqui saw. The guy had no NFL potential a year ago, do we want to pick him first now?

wow...just wow. if you're unable to change your mind based on new evidence then you're smarter than i think you are. impressive. what in the world else do you need to see from VY? another national championship? another dominating performance??

Why would we see that? I think he gets better coaching in the nfl.

Hell, I'm a huge UT homer, but during the Missouri game two years ago, even I began to wonder what happened to him.

We're just not as blinded by loyalty as you, bigtexx and kas13 are blinded by hatred.

You, especially, seem to have a problem with the guy and I suspect it's because you love A$M and Reggie McNeal. It must eat you up seeing Young get this much hype while Reggie is an afterthought working out with Al Connell

He apparently ran an offense that Reggie was incapable of running in college, despite the fact that Reggie plays with better talent.

I thought Smith was a reach last year anyway, but two things I keep in mind is 1) he plays for San Fran and 2) he's still only 22.

That being said, I don't think he's blessed with the same tools as a David Carr or Carson Palmer. Smith happened to be in the right draft.

You finding this thread shows that you are obsessed with Vince for whatever reason. You're worse than us Horns.

What if we see the WR version again? What kind of question is that? As the other guys have probably already covered, VY will get much better coaching in the NFL, I've never heard of a guy actually regressing.

If that is the only argument you guys have left, that's stretching it. Pulling up a thread a year old trying to prove a point that doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Some were saying he wouldn't make it as a QB in the NFL, now one year to the date everyone is saying he is a guaranteed Top 3 pick and will play QB next season.

I just don't see what VY could do more to dispell the doubters, this is a perfect example of people that just don't like the guy and no matter what he does, they will doubt.

i think its pretty funny to read that he should be a WR. i dont watch the nfl that much but i will be curious more so i can see how VY & bush do at the next level. and matt L. for that matter. for me those 3 guys will always be connected in a way.

IC2k, Stop with the thread necromancy. You've done this multiple times now. If you do it again, I'll gladly use the handy "Report post to moderator" button, and I'll campaign to get others to do the same. If you want to quote an old post, add a link to the thread and/or do a little copy and paste action. It's really not that hard.

I don't really believe he should be a WR. I just find it hilarious that some of his biggest advocates now were some of his biggest haters then. Just like Mack Brown. If anything it could be a classic moment in the making. And it also goes to show you for as much as everyone thinks they know how things will turn out they really have no idea.

I openly admit I do not like Vince or his talents. UT I don't have more of a problem with than any other school
