Granted your getting a tax return this year. What are your plans for the money? I haven't seen a return in a few years due to the contract work i have been doing on the side so i end up paying money at the end of the year. But when i did get them i loved just splurging sometimes.

What kind of things are you going to use your return for this year?

I'm probably going to owe about 3 grand so I will be holding on to my income tax return until the last final day, then mail it.

I filed on Thursday. Getting $583 back. Spending roughly $300 on paying off my Chase credit card I recently closed. The rest goes to paying off some NBA tickets I purchased (can't tell you what team...they're considered "evil" around here :p

I am getting almost $1300 back which I think is the most ever for me. A little over $700 of that is going to go to pay off a signature loan I have and I will *try* to save the rest of it. But I could use some of it to buy another 10 CDs or so. :p ;)

I AM IN NO WAY A JAZZ FAN

However, I have a friend who lives in London and is going to be in Salt Lake City for some conference, so I broke down and bought Jazz tickets so he can go to his first-ever NBA game. This is a huge sacrifice for which he will pay dearly. The good news is it is against the Clippers, so at least I'll have an ex-Rocket to cheer for!

Hmmm, I like a woman who uses no less than 8 angry smilies to express her outrage at being labeled a jazz supporter.

    moes, you beat me, but

amfootball, dump that loser, and we can go watch a Rockets game in Toyota Center.

I work for the City of Houston, and they take half my paycheck. So I can only afford one ticket. You can sit on my lap and cheer for T-Mac and Yao.

I got some tax return for my summer job last year, I don't remember doing anything. I should get one this year since I only started working after graduation, so I shouldn't be taxed like I've workedthe whole year, but should I file a return or something or is it going to be automatic?

Well, on second thought... I'll bow out and defer to kam.

It's not like I'm selling you short, but kam is known to stalk / plot the demise of other men who are after his womenz.

and yeah well you remember my response to rule #2.
