No profanity either, which is a prerequisite for any good soccer/rugby song. Changing the last line to "We'll sing our song, and pound our beer, and win the f***ing game" would be a start.
Wow....I am sooo pleased to see the great responses and possitive feedback so far. Houston is indeed a great city and our sports fans are great regardless of what the outside media think. Lets go Houston!!!
I really dig the hint of oiler blue on the white uni.. I think melding the orange and blue would be really cool.. kind of vintage astros/oilers combo..
I don't like the white jersey very much. They need to do away with either the light blue or the black. Each one separately looks nice with the orange but together with the orange it looks off.
Just found out that my niece's trainer out in California is a player on the 1836. They gave him my number so we can show him around town.
From what I've read it seems like the players there are very friendly and accesable. They would attend different functions with fans and even hang out in the tailgating area after games with fans. Do you know which player it is?
