the Iowa Hawkeyes visitor locker room is painted pink!

IMO, stuff like that is bushleague. Show respect, be a generous host & then kill them on the court.

We allow the other team to score the first ten points of the game. Wait, that doesn't help. Someone notify the team.

Also the old Boston Garden floor had lots of dead spots gaps in the parquet and rivets that gave the Celts the same sort of advantage as baseball teams with odd field dimensions.

i read somewhere that Magic Johnson preferred a high bounce so the Lakers ball was slightly overinflated

yup, I've heard that during those Lakers years with Magic, the Lakers would put an extra few pounds in the basketballs in order for him to have a high dribble when he's playing PG.

The Pacers were known to have shorter nets at one time before the NBA called them out, I believe.

I read somewhere that Phil Jackson and some of the Bulls players would hold airpump pins in their jerseys in order to deflate the ball some during stoppage of plays against the Lakers, etc.

Doesn't Detroit use to have this weird piece of rubber under one of their goals back then?
