Politicians edit their wiki entries

    The thing with the wiki's though is that if people don't like the editing by politicians they can note it, and it will be marked on the entry. If the information is disputed that will be noted, until it can be resolved.

    Very true. However, the problem is that most people look to wiki for information and come with no knowledge of what they look for. If I were looking at that politician's wiki, I'd have no idea that it was written by his staffers and not entirely true. I wouldn't know to mark it.

    That's a weakness inherent in the wiki system. I'll make a note not to trust it on volatile political subjects.
