"I am a lonesome hobo"- I like the insistent groove that develops on this one. "Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues" "Deliah's Gone"- This song makes me cry "The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carrol" "Baby Let Me Follow You Down" (Live 1966 version with the Band)- It kicks *so* much ass. "Most of the time" "Not Dark Yet" "Hurricane" "Meet me in the morning" "Don't think Twice (It's alright)" "Lay Lady Lay" "Dear Landlord" (I have a soft spot for John Wesley Harding) "No More Auction Block" "Seven Days" "Blind Willie McTell" These are off the first batch of official bootleg releases in the 90's and until Neil Young prooves me wrong with his upcoming unreleased release series, I don't think anybody has ever had more unreleased works of genius. These last three songs would literally be the best songs anybody ever did and he left them in the can for years and years.
although 1-3 is good ( the spoken word tribute to Woody Guthrie gets me every time), my favorite of the bootleg series has to be Volume 6, Live at Philharmonic Hall 1964... Volume 4- Royal Albert Hall 1966 Volume 5- Rolling Thunder Review 1975 Volume 7- No Direction Home
