Can anyone give me a good copy of the Cougar fight song? In mp3 or wav or whatever? The one on the school site sounds like it was ripped off of a 50 year old record.

I got my Cougar Fight song from Cingular. It doesn't sound too bad.

I've got a copy, but I think I got it from the athletics website a long time ago.

It sounds good to me, but it certainly has that "old" feel to it.

I'll have to ask a few of my friends in the marching band if they have a new copy..

Yeah, but I want this for a Sprint phone. Sprint doesn't offer the ringtone, which is okay, because I usually make my own. But I can't make a ringtone without the original music.

The one that is currently on the athletics site was literally taken from an old vinyl record. The popping on it is loud and constant, like popcorn.

Meh, I have it on my ipod and I blast that sucker when it comes on. Sounds fine to me.

Some of us dig that "classic" sound.

And if I could put it on my phone, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I use Xingtone. You have to pay them $20 to start, but after that, you can make and download as many ringtones as your phone can hold. It's not really cost-effective when compared to buying ringtones straight up, especially if you don't have an internet plan on your phone. But if you really love a piece of music that no one is offering as a ringtone, it's the only way. For example, I've got Ennio Morricone's "Death Rides A Horse" from Kill Bill.
