I was walking in the Galleria this afternoon and I saw a guy walking towards me amongst the crowd. I was like is that Luther Head ? As he got closer it was and I said, " What's goin on Luther ?!". He smirked a lil and muttered " Whats up". He wasn't dressed all flashy or tacky, he really blended in with the crowd. No one else was buggin him either... maybe they dont watch rockets games because we aren't doing to great and don't know who he is haha.
I'll be the first to say it, WHERE'S THE PICS???? on another lutha note, i saw on the front page of yahoo nba that luther was the #2 NOT guard for fantasy right now
Stop the presess!!! You mean to tell me these guys I see playing basketball on my TV actually do stuff like go to the mall, restaurants, and so on....................it is almost like they are human like. (sorry, just had to give you a hard time, always got a kick out of posts like this)
To add (or subtract) some validity to this claim... I receive a text message from Dave2000 saying the same thing.
LOL. How much do you wanna bet that Stro will be back there in another few days trying to return a broken Robosapien?
I saw Pike at the Galleria when he was here, I got pretty excited and was telling my girlfriend that he was the "Polish Rifle." I think she just turned and went into Urban Outfitters.
On New Years eve, I was at the Grand Lux cafe and Luther Head walked in....this was after they lost the game that day. I got to shook his hand, but not too many people knew who he was. And then on Jan 19th i was at Grand Lux Cafe again for a friends Birthday and Sto was cruising past the restaurant in is Rolls Royce
yup, i saw him when i was going up the escalator from the Foley's underground parking garage. He went to throw something away and I was like "Dude looks like Luther Head" in my head (no pun intended), then realized the next game is a home game and figured it was him. I told my gf and she told me to go say whatsup to him, but it was too late already as he was with 2 other girls? and didnt want to bother him.
hmmm... hakeem rode back on the same plane as me. i was flying back from portland and he had to stay behind because of an injury. him and his trainer flew back the day after... (i was like in..9th grade?) i also saw shaq at the hwy 6 and williams trace mcdonalds. (summer of 10th grade...). it was right after him and kobe won the finals. it confused the heck of me to see him in sugar land.
When I worked at the Galleria I met and made a hat for Shaq (real nice guy). When it came time to pay, dude pulled out a roll of 50's thicker than my fist (slight exaggeration). A few weeks later I saw him wearing it somewhere. Nothing major, but pretty cool. The funniest part was watching him hold his daughter's hand when they walked. She was a mere toddler and Shaq was bending down all the way so he could hold her hand. I was hoping he would throw his back out (and I mean that in the nicest possible way).
