If you're going to retire Jackie's number, you also retire Ruth's. Babe Ruth made Major League Baseball and his influence on the sport and the country is immense.

 

Don't forget that not only did Robinson open the door for black players, he also opened the door for black skinned Latin players.

 

That would be the only other MLB number I'd retire. #3 and #42 - that's it.
