Is there a way I can somehow link Heartbreaker and Living Loving Maid so that they play in order when I shuffle the playlist? I like the shuffle option on some of my playlists, but it just kills me when Heartbreaker ends without LLM and LLM starts without HB coming before.
The only way I could think to do this would be to merge the songs into one single file using a mixer program then upload that file to your ipod.
Wow that's awesome that you'd ask that. My favorite band is easily Led Zeppelin and Heartbreaker/Living Loving Maid is probably my favorite song by them. I, too, cannot stand to hear one without the other - it is essentially the same song. As much as I hate to skip it, I always go past Heartbreaker when it's on shuffle because I know I wont be able to hear Living Loving Maid. A while back I just downloaded a version that had the two of them together as one song. You could use any P2P client that lets you download for free to find it. I got rid of it, though, because I wanted nothing but CD quality songs. Other than that, there's nothing you can do but take it off of shuffle when you're listening to it on your computer or only listen to it as part of the whole CD. Such an awesome song, possibly the best hard rock song ever.
It's a bit of work, but this seems to do what you want... http://www.methodshop.com/mp3/ipodsupport/jointracks/index.shtml
Does anyone recommend an mp3 player other than an ipod? I know iriver or something has one, my ipod is screwed, and i dont want to send it in for repair because it basically costs the same as a new one. What recommendations do you guys suggest?
OK, I'm just now trying to use my iPod that I got for Xmas (sorry John Gibson). I've turned it on before and could scroll through to see there was nothing on there. This time, I turned it on, plugged it into my computer to download some songs, and it froze. Time is stuck on 5:02 and I cannot turn it off or reset it. Ideas?
OK, I think that worked. A real hassle to get it done though. I don't understand why Apple doesn't write some code that allows this to be done without reloading the songs.
wanna sell the ipod?? i would recommend the creative zen's, they are pretty cool, and the interface is much better than the older versions that they had. also the sony hd5 is a pretty decent (cheap) replacement and if you dont mind playing wiht the menus and stuff to get what you want, then the iriver h10 is also a good choice
Today I actually ordered a Creative Touch, I saw the Zen, dont know, I checked all their products out, and thought the Touch was good because it had 24 hr battery life. I've never sold anything online, i guess if your willing to get the ipod fixed I could sell it...I wouldnt know where to begin on how to sell it, I've never used ebay before or anything.
