For me, it's Van Chancellor, Bullard, Murph, then Clyde.

Van Chancellor because of his great knowledge and analysis skills. And his funny accent.

Bullard because he's a good combination of fan and analyst. He's got a little humor too. "Should I draw a smiley face on him?" - referring to a dejected Mark Cuban after a playoff loss. A little bland overall though.

Murph, well, I guess I kind of got tired of him. Same with Worrell.

Clyde, I find him really bland. Plus, I can't take much more of Bill sucking up to him.

Actually, Worrell probably annoys me more than any of them. I find his commentary old and predictable. He's constantly sucking up to Bull and Clyde.

"Just like when you played right (Matt/Clyde)?" - after a dunk
"He shot that from __(some far place outside the arena)__ !" - after a long 3

Maybe I'll just start tuning in Gene Peterson and Jim Foley, and mute the TV. Or maybe I'll start listening to the spanish broadcast, even though I don't speak spanish.

I can't stand Bullard. He is so bland. There's no color in his color. He's iceberg lettuce.

Van Chancellor was much better. He was a true color guy, knowlegable and entertaining.

    Bullard >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Clyde

I actually really like Bullard as a color guy now, at first i didnt like his corny jokes and monitor pen happy drawings during the games, but after listening to Clyde's snorefest, bullard really shows how atrocious clyde is.

Bullard on Tmac hitting a big 3pter... "THATS NOT A LOOK OF PAIN! THATS A LOOK OF YEAAAAAAAA BABY!!!"

If it was Clyde in the same situation.. "Great players make great shots, Bill."

My vote definitely goes for Calvin Murpy.

Bullard is just okay, kinda boring.

I like Bullard and Clyde, more as players than color guys, but they are o.k., not really bad. Clyde makes some really silly comments. Several years ago I did color for a college basketball team in the Dallas area. It is not as easy as it looks. Timing is everything and humor helps. Sports platitudes are so prevalent among coaches, players, and announcers. Try interviewing a coach after his team has been pounded in the ground. Not fun.

I thought Van was really good. It's just too bad people couldn't get over his accent and 610 commercials.

Van Chancellor raping on 610 was awesome, but I too couldn't handle his accent during the games.

So that's why he was banned from Rockets games.

Bullard kicks ass. Clyde sounds like he got rolled in from the old folks home.
