Or like another poster said, this team needs a Feng Shui (sp?) master to get rid of the bad lucks.

True, T-Mac becoming another Grant Hill will be the worse nightmare you can ever get.

Although he is a great person, Grant Hill has been on the injure-comeback-injure cycle for several years, and basically doomed Magic during the period, I just wish T-Mac and Rox won't be so unlucky.

Oh ya and i forgot to mention to all those who want to go for a draft pick, we will have a rested Yao Ming down the stretch. Yao has been getting rest during this time many forget he was playing in pain and now is eating his mom's meals in no pain cause hes on so much morphine.

The goal should be to win more games with Mcgrady than we lose. Then when Yao comes back the goal should be to win twice as much as you lose. More importantly the Rockets as a team, now that Mcgrady is back and Yao is a week away, should set a goal to put themselves within striking distance of the 8th spot by the All Star Break. 3 or 4 games back from the 8th spot by the all star break will give the team new life. they'll have something to play for once again. i can see it happening.

if this is true than a top 3 pick is exactly what we need. adam morrison or rudy gay would do just fine. groom one of them to be a second option after yao. and slowly move away from tmac being our everything. in fact if that were true, i would consider trading tmac.

Speaking of TMAC any one have or know where to get the wallpaper of Tmac's logo? It's all black with the TMAC logo (tatoo) in the middle red. I used to have it but lost it. :(

The Rockets are still in striking distance of the #8 seed. Screw the lottery and draft picks, lets get everybody together, get closer by the All-Star Break, and go out there and take a playoff berth!

As I once heard it, Les needs to make sure he puts his toilet lid down so all of his money doesn't flush away.....

Gosh, I loved that one when I heard it! :D

You're joking or are you reading a mid-December copy of the Chronicle. Dude look at the standings, WORST record in the conference, 2nd worst record in the league. At this point, there is no question in mind what the Rox should do, try to become weak 8th seed playoff team or build for the future by getting a top 5 pick in the draft, its build for the future baby.

Great lets rush T-mac back so he ruptures a vertabra and ruins his career.

Whooo hooo maybe we'll get that 8th seed.

if i'm not mistaken.....last year's nuggets had a turnaround season after george karl came in as coach. i'm not sure of the numbers, but they finished the year out strong. now, if the rox somehow get everyone healthy and finish strong and make the playoffs.....i would not consider the rox a 'weak 8th seed', seeing that they might have to finish the season 35 - 7 to obtain the 8th seed. if this was to happen, the #1 seed would be afraid.....very afraid.

Your joking 35 -7 is .833 ball, even the Spurs aren't playing at that clip. FYI, the Nuggets were 17-22 at this point last season and went 32-11 for the rest of the season a .744 percentage, were hyped as a dark horse team that could win it all and got crushed by the Spurs 4-1 in the first round of last years playoffs and drafted Julius Hodge with the 20th pick in the draft.

Best case is that we get the 8th seed and get crushed by the Spurs like the Nuggets did and believe me we will get crushed by the Spurs even if we pull off this minor miracle of playing .800 ball. Nope, give me a top 5 lottery pick because this team is just not good enough.

It's about time the Rox management realizes their errors that they have made the last couple of off seasons. Killing our Stars with the poor surrounding cast would be another error and one that they should not even come close to doing.
Give the young talent playing experience, bring T McG and Yao Ming back for the All Star Game and then use them for very limited playing time after the break. Their goal must be to rebuild the Rockets not punish our stars.

    That sounds prudent.
