I put it on all my taco's. Whether it be breakfast or mexican. It definitely taste better in taco bell tacos that's for sure. They even have it at souper salad.
Those are chilli seeds. Anyway as a Hispanic don't you like corn? As for stuff not looking right a lot people won't mole or frijoles because they um don't look right
I didn't say I didn't like CORN. I love CORN. On the COB, with some Tajín Salsa (available by the produce at Fiesta)... yumm-mah-dum-dum...! Some of those pictures are WRONG. I mean, put some other stuff on the side, like BREAD or TORTILLAS, man... WTF is that, poop? It looks like throw up to me... since there is nothing around it that says it's NOT. Especially that bowl looks like a toilet bowl instead... We MEXICANS love our BEANS. Back on track, in Mexico I loved this Hot Sauce called "Búfalo" on any chips and chicharrones, but now that I am older, it's white man's stuff... it's too mild for my taste. Anyway, what's the deal with Wal-Mart only having "mild" dips and sauces for dip in the CHIPS aisle? Who's picking these sauces, Michael Rappaport?
http://www.cholula.com/ MONEY!! I HATE watered down hot sauce, Cholula is just right in the thickness and flavor..
I'll agree on this one. Besides the other ones mentioned in this thread (Tabasco, Sriracha, Cholula, etc), this is one of the hotter ones out there. That habanero kicks tastebud ass. Also, HEB has a picante salsa that's Habanero and "Extra Hot"; for some reason, I can tolerate most spicy foods but this burns like none other...
Dont know what stores you have in your area but all grocery stores sell it here in Houston -- Most often I get it at Wal-Mart...Kroger....Randalls....
Speaking of habenero, has anyone tried the new Doritos habenero? I'm not usually a fan of doritos, but these rock.
Word! That thing is f***ing addictive. I have like 3 or 4 bottles at my apartment, it goes on everything.
I went to a trade show in Livingston last weekend and some guy was there selling his homemade hot sauces. He had about 30 or more different ones and they all had cool labels. Well since I love hot sauce I asked him if I could have some samples. I asked to start off with a medium so I could work my way up. I never did get pass the medium. As soon as it touched my tongue my eyes started water. I had my sunglasses on so he wasn't able to see the tears form. He said it's got a nice flavor with a little bit of a kick at the end. I'm thinking nice flavor with a little kick my ass. That stuff was hurting and I still don't know what it tasted like. I could feel the tears starting to run down my cheek so I had to make a quick getaway before everyone saw me crying. I think the hot sauce I tried was called Death by Stupidity. Diffidently not my favorite.
Tabasco is pretty damn good. It's pretty expensive, though. Frank's is a cheaper alternative that still tastes good.
I worked in a couple different Chinese restaruant before, people love this chili sauce, espeically when they buy take out, all they get is this thing, and maybe couple of soy sauce. However, I do not think this is a good chili sauce. This is the cheap version of the chili sauce that restaruant have.
I love me some Sriracha on just about everything. Emeril's hot sauce has a really good garlic taste, I just wish it was a lot hotter.
For asian sauce, Lee Kum Kee sauce is the best in the world. Their businese is running for over a 100 years now, and they're pretty much global. A lot of people like the chili sauce, and Lee Kum Kee's chili sauce is the best you can probably find. Trust me, you won't regret it, but there're many more other sauces that're great. http://usa.lkk.com/
Yan_Yao- Lee Kum Kee's hot sauce is awesome for asian food, especially noodles. Not sure how it would taste on other foods. For anyone wondering, Lee Kum Kee's hot sauce is like the kind you find at most asian resteraunts in the small clear container w/ the cover. It's oil based and has a ton of seeds it it Spiracha is pretty good, wouldn't put it on anything though. I use Tabasco quite a bit, it's not very good but I always have it for some reason. Cholula is pretty damn good too. Bigtexx- My best friend is white and he swears by this stuff. You should try it sometime for sure. It's more of a paste than a sauce though, its pretty thick.
SONTAVA, from belize this is the best habanero sauce ive ever had, bar none. the xxx hot will put hair on your chest.
