Geeeeeeeez, Yao Ming loves to foul ??? Should this writer tries to probe MORE into the reasonsWHY is that Yao Ming is the Top 5 NBA players who got so many calls ?? Is he playing rough and dirty ?? No. Does he sux in offense and defense ?? No. Does he really love to foul ?? No. So WHY ?? IMHO, it seems the NBA referees have to learn how to officiate the game of players of > 7ft 5.
of course they're all big men. with the new rules, guards are untouchable and you can't defend them on thier way to the basket leaving the big guys out to dry.
I remember Yao's rookie season I bet my friends that Yao would go the whole year without getting a technical. Then he got his first in a game against Atlanta after dunking on Theo Ratliff and then shouting... I didn't mind losing money for that one
Yao has been out nearly a month but still is in the top five for fouls. He had 89 fouls over 22 games, good for an average of four. The guy really sucks in logic. Even if Yao is out for a year (God forbidden), he would still be on the top of the list, because that's AVERAGE.
